We LOVE to read ink books

We LOVE to read ink books. Well, we are just learning to read, but we love to be read to. Mommy says that when she and daddy grew up there were no computers, tablets, kindles, tag readers or smart phones. What did you play with we asked? She said we played with toys or outside with friends, and read ink books printed on paper.

Here are some of our favorite books. We hope you like them too!

THE VERY QUIET CRICKET by Eric Carle

An Eric Carle classic.  This is an adorable story about the adventures of a small cricket finding his voice.

What we like most about this book is the end when the cricket finds his voice and you hear him chirping via the electronic chirping device as you turn the last page.  I think we will have to replace the battery very soon!

  1. Your friends Luke and Elizabeth love this book! They also like the bear books. Luke always asks what each animal is having for lunch, which means I have to research what certain animals like whooping cranes actually eat. If you don't have them and ever want to borrow them for a time, have your mom ask their mom.
